M by Mirai Bahrain is looking for a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our front-of-house leadership team. This role suits a hospitality professional who combines hands-on service skills with the ability to coach and inspire others. As Restaurant Supervisor you will support the Restaurant Manager in delivering consistently excellent guest experiences across every shift, ensuring service standards, smooth operations, and a welcoming atmosphere. You will mentor servers, manage shift flow, and act as the primary point of contact for guests during service. The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, detail-oriented, commercially aware, and passionate about Japanese-inspired dining and refined hospitality. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Shift Supervision — Lead and coordinate front-of-house teams during assigned shifts to ensure timely, polished service and efficient table flow.
  • Team Coaching — Train, mentor, and motivate servers and support staff; run pre-shift briefings and on-the-job coaching.
  • Guest Relations — Greet and engage guests, manage reservations and seating, handle feedback, and execute guest recovery when needed.
  • Service Standards — Enforce service sequences, table maintenance, and presentation standards; ensure menus and specials are communicated accurately.
  • Operational Support — Assist with opening and closing procedures, side work, and daily checklists; support inventory spot-checks and stock rotation.
  • POS and Cash Handling — Operate POS, process payments, and follow cash-handling procedures with accuracy.
  • Health and Safety — Maintain hygiene and safety standards in line with regulations and company policy.
  • Reporting — Provide shift reports and communicate operational issues to management.

Requirements

  • Experience — Minimum 2 years in a supervisory role within a busy restaurant or upscale dining environment.
  • Service Knowledge — Strong understanding of fine-dining service sequences, reservation flow, and guest etiquette.
  • Leadership — Demonstrated ability to coach staff, manage conflict, and maintain team morale during peak periods.
  • Communication — Excellent English communication skills; Arabic is an advantage.
  • Commercial Awareness — Comfortable supporting upselling, managing covers, and contributing to revenue goals.
  • Personal Attributes — Professional presentation, punctuality, calm under pressure, and a guest-first mindset.
  • Availability — Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Certifications — Food safety or hospitality-related certificates are preferred.
