Majestic Hotel Group is seeking a hardworking, detail‑oriented Public Area Attendant to maintain the cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation of all public spaces throughout the hotel. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in creating welcoming, spotless environments that enhance the guest experience from the moment they enter the property. As a Public Area Attendant, you will be responsible for cleaning lobbies, corridors, restrooms, elevators, and other shared areas while ensuring all tasks are completed safely and efficiently. You will play a key role in upholding Majestic’s brand standards, supporting smooth daily operations, and contributing to a warm, inviting atmosphere for guests and colleagues. Duties and Responsibilities
- Public Area Cleaning — Clean and sanitize lobbies, corridors, elevators, restrooms, and other public spaces according to hotel standards.
- Restroom Maintenance — Replenish supplies, disinfect surfaces, and ensure restrooms remain clean and guest‑ready at all times.
- Lobby & Entrance Care — Maintain cleanliness of entrances, glass doors, carpets, and high‑traffic areas.
- Trash & Recycling — Empty bins, replace liners, and follow proper waste segregation procedures.
- Floor Care — Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors as required.
- Furniture & Fixture Care — Dust and wipe furniture, décor, signage, and fixtures throughout public areas.
- Guest Assistance — Provide polite, helpful responses to guest inquiries and requests when encountered.
- Safety & Hygiene Compliance — Follow all sanitation, chemical handling, and safety protocols.
- Reporting — Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
- Support for Events — Assist with setup, cleaning, and breakdown of public spaces during events or busy periods.
Requirements
- Experience — Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Education — Basic education; hygiene or housekeeping certification is an advantage.
- Skills — Strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work independently.
- Physical Ability — Able to stand for long periods, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks safely.
- Personal Attributes — Reliable, polite, hardworking, and committed to cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
- Language — Basic English communication; additional languages are a plus.
- Availability — Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Work Authorization — Legal right to work in the UAE or the country where the role is based.
