Majestic Hotel Group is seeking a proactive, reliable, and service‑focused Night Shift Leader to oversee hotel operations during the overnight hours. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional who excels in independent decision‑making, maintains a calm and confident presence, and ensures the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of all guests throughout the night. As Night Shift Leader, you will supervise the night team, manage late check‑ins and early departures, handle guest inquiries, monitor security and safety procedures, and ensure smooth coordination with Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, and Security. You will also be responsible for night audits, reporting, and ensuring that all operational standards are upheld. Duties and Responsibilities
- Overnight Operations — Oversee all hotel activities during the night shift; ensure smooth functioning of Front Office and guest services.
- Guest Relations — Handle late arrivals, early departures, special requests, and service recovery for any overnight guest concerns.
- Night Audit Support — Assist with or oversee night audit procedures, financial reconciliations, and system rollovers as required.
- Safety & Security Monitoring — Conduct property walkthroughs, monitor CCTV (where applicable), and coordinate with Security to ensure guest and staff safety.
- Team Supervision — Lead and support night team members; ensure tasks are completed, standards are met, and proper handovers are prepared.
- Emergency Response — Act as the primary point of contact for emergencies, alarms, medical incidents, and crisis situations; follow established protocols.
- Coordination — Communicate with Housekeeping, Engineering, and other departments to prepare the hotel for the next day’s operations.
- Reporting — Prepare detailed shift reports, incident logs, and handover notes for the morning management team.
- Quality Assurance — Inspect lobby, public areas, and back‑of‑house spaces to ensure cleanliness, readiness, and adherence to brand standards.
- Policy Compliance — Ensure all night operations follow hotel SOPs, safety regulations, and financial procedures.
Requirements
- Experience — Minimum 2–4 years in Front Office or hotel operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or night shift role preferred.
- Education — Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or related field is an advantage.
- Skills — Strong communication, leadership, and problem‑solving abilities; confident handling guest escalations and emergencies.
- Technical — Proficiency with PMS systems (Opera or similar), MS Office, and basic night audit procedures.
- Personal Attributes — Calm under pressure, detail‑oriented, trustworthy, and able to work independently.
- Language — Fluent English; additional languages are beneficial.
- Availability — Must be able to work overnight shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Work Authorization — Legal right to work in the UAE or the country where the role is based.
