Junior Sous Chef – Orange Holding | Dubai

Orange Holding is recruiting a Junior Sous Chef to support the kitchen leadership at its Dubai venue. You will help run the daily operation of the kitchen, supervising chefs de partie, demi chefs and commis, keeping food quality and presentation consistent, and making sure every plate leaves the pass to standard. You will assist with prep planning, ordering, stock control and hygiene, and step in to lead sections or whole services when required. This is a strong opportunity for an ambitious chef de partie or experienced junior sous who wants to grow into a senior role with an expanding hospitality group that values talent, discipline and passion for food.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in running daily kitchen operations
  • Supervise and coach chefs de partie, demi chefs and commis
  • Ensure consistent food quality, portioning and presentation
  • Support ordering, stock control and wastage reduction
  • Uphold food safety, HACCP and kitchen hygiene standards

Requirements

  • Experience as a Junior Sous Chef or senior Chef de Partie in a quality restaurant or hotel kitchen
  • Strong cooking skills and knowledge of kitchen organisation
  • Good leadership and communication skills
  • Valid food hygiene and HACCP knowledge
  • Ability to work under pressure and in shifts
  • Experience in the UAE or GCC is an advantage
