Majestic Hotel Group is looking for a friendly, energetic, and service‑oriented Bellboy to join our Front Office team. As the first point of contact for many guests, you will play a key role in creating warm, memorable arrivals and departures. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy interacting with people, take pride in professional presentation, and thrive in a fast‑paced hospitality environment. As a Bellboy, you will assist with luggage handling, escort guests to their rooms, provide information about hotel facilities, and support the Front Office team with smooth lobby operations. You will also help maintain a welcoming atmosphere in the lobby and ensure that every guest feels valued and well cared for. Duties and Responsibilities
- Guest Assistance — Welcome guests upon arrival, assist with luggage, and escort them to their rooms while explaining hotel facilities.
- Lobby Support — Maintain a clean, organized, and guest‑ready lobby environment; assist with guest inquiries and directions.
- Luggage Handling — Safely store, tag, and retrieve luggage; manage deliveries of parcels, amenities, and guest requests.
- Transportation Coordination — Assist with arranging taxis, valet services, and transportation needs as requested.
- Room Orientation — Provide basic room orientation such as lighting, AC controls, and key card usage.
- Guest Requests — Deliver items such as amenities, extra towels, or housekeeping supplies promptly and courteously.
- Safety & Security — Report suspicious activity, follow safety protocols, and ensure guest belongings are handled with care.
- Communication — Coordinate with Front Office, Concierge, and Housekeeping to ensure smooth guest service.
- Lost & Found — Follow proper procedures for handling and documenting lost items.
- Shift Duties — Complete daily checklists, maintain equipment such as trolleys, and support the team during busy periods.
Requirements
- Experience — Previous experience as a Bellboy, Porter, or in a guest‑facing hospitality role is preferred; fresh candidates with strong attitude and communication skills may be considered.
- Education — High school diploma or equivalent.
- Skills — Strong customer service skills, polite communication, and the ability to handle luggage safely.
- Physical Fitness — Able to lift and carry luggage, stand for long periods, and move quickly when needed.
- Personal Attributes — Well‑groomed, courteous, punctual, and eager to assist guests.
- Language — Good English communication; additional languages are an advantage.
- Availability — Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Work Authorization — Legal right to work in the UAE or the country where the role is based.
