Duties and Responsibilities
Barback
- Restock and organize bar supplies, including liquor, garnishes, ice, and glassware throughout service.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including wiping counters, washing glassware, and clearing empty bottles.
- Support bartenders during peak hours by preparing mixers, juices, and pre-batched ingredients.
- Monitor stock levels and alert bartenders or management when inventory runs low.
- Assist with opening and closing bar setup, including ice runs and equipment checks.
Junior Bartender
- Prepare and serve a range of classic and house-signature cocktails under the guidance of senior bar staff.
- Take drink orders and interact with guests to recommend beverages based on their preferences.
- Maintain proper stock rotation, garnish prep, and bar mise en place before and during service.
- Operate the POS system accurately for orders, payments, and end-of-shift reconciliation.
- Follow all responsible alcohol service and hygiene standards at all times.
Senior Bartender
- Lead the bar program by crafting and refining cocktail recipes, seasonal menus, and drink specials.
- Train, mentor, and supervise junior bartenders and barbacks during shifts.
- Manage bar inventory, ordering, and supplier coordination to control costs and minimize waste.
- Ensure consistent quality, presentation, and speed of service across all beverages served.
- Handle guest concerns related to the bar experience and support management with operational decisions.
Junior Waiter
- Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide accurate recommendations on food and drink items.
- Take and relay orders precisely to the kitchen and bar, ensuring timely delivery to tables.
- Maintain table cleanliness and proper table settings before, during, and after service.
- Process bills and payments accurately using the restaurant’s POS system.
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth, well-timed service throughout each shift.
Requirements
Barback
- Previous experience in a restaurant, bar, or hospitality environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active role, including lifting stock and standing for long periods.
- Strong teamwork and willingness to support bartenders and other FOH staff.
- Basic knowledge of bar tools, glassware, and hygiene standards.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Junior Bartender
- At least 1 year of bartending or bar-support experience, ideally in a restaurant or lounge setting.
- Basic knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, and mixing techniques.
- Good communication and guest-service skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak hours.
- UAE hospitality experience is an advantage.
Senior Bartender
- Minimum 3–5 years of bartending experience, including experience in a supervisory or lead role.
- Strong mixology skills with the ability to create original cocktail menus.
- Proven leadership and training ability with junior bar staff.
- Experience with bar inventory management and cost control.
- Prior experience in Dubai or the wider UAE hospitality market is preferred.
Junior Waiter
- Previous experience as a waiter or in a similar front-of-house role is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional, guest-focused attitude.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized during high-volume service.
- Good command of English; additional languages are a plus.
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and evening shifts.
