Duties and Responsibilities
Bartender
- Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, mocktails, and beer/wine selections, following Rowley’s recipes and standards
- Greet guests warmly, take drink orders, and provide recommendations based on guest preferences
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar station throughout each shift
- Monitor guest consumption and uphold responsible service of alcohol at all times
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately, and reconcile the bar till at the end of service
Jr Bartender
- Assist senior bartenders in preparing garnishes, mixers, and ingredients ahead of and during service
- Learn and practice standard drink recipes under supervision, building speed and consistency over time
- Support bar setup, breakdown, and daily cleaning duties to maintain hygiene standards
- Restock bar supplies, glassware, and inventory as directed by the bar team
- Deliver friendly, attentive service to guests while developing bartending techniques and product knowledge
Stewarding Supervisor
- Oversee the daily operations of the stewarding department, including dishwashing, equipment cleaning, and kitchen sanitation
- Supervise, train, and schedule stewarding staff to ensure adequate coverage during peak service hours
- Ensure all kitchen equipment, utensils, and storage areas meet hygiene and safety standards
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and coordinate timely reordering with management
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations
Requirements
Bartender
- Proven experience as a bartender in a restaurant, bar, or hospitality establishment
- Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktail recipes and mixology techniques
- Excellent communication and guest service skills
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Food and beverage safety certification is a plus
Jr Bartender
- Some prior experience in bartending, barback, or food and beverage service preferred
- Genuine interest in learning mixology and growing within the bar team
- Energetic, reliable, and able to work well under pressure during busy shifts
- Good communication skills and a positive, guest-focused attitude
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
Stewarding Supervisor
- Previous experience in a stewarding or kitchen support supervisory role within a restaurant or hotel
- Strong understanding of hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards
- Leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a team
- Good organizational and inventory management abilities
- Physically able to perform stewarding duties and stand for extended periods
