Key Responsibilities

Assist in setting up service standards, station assignments, and SOPs during the pre-opening phase
Lead the waitstaff during daily operations, ensuring consistency and professionalism in service
Greet and interact with guests, anticipate their needs, and handle any issues promptly
Train and guide junior waiters to ensure service excellence
Communicate effectively with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely service
Monitor cleanliness, presentation, and safety standards in the dining area
Support the Assistant Restaurant Manager in daily briefings, floor planning, and team motivation
Ensure product knowledge of the menu, specials, and wine/beverage pairing

Job Requirements

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a senior waiter or head waiter role in upscale or lifestyle restaurants
Pre-opening experience is a strong advantage
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong knowledge of food and beverage service, etiquette, and guest handling
Confident, polished, and guest-focused with a hands-on attitude
Ability to manage a small team and coordinate effectively with management
Fluent in English; additional European languages are an advantage
Ready to relocate and work flexible shifts as needed
