Duties and Requirements

Hostess — Arabic speaker

  • Duties: Greet and seat guests; manage reservations and waitlists; coordinate with FOH team for smooth seating flow; answer phone and basic guest queries.
  • Requirements: Fluent Arabic and good English; 1–3 years FOH experience; excellent presentation and communication; basic reservation system familiarity.

Head Waiter — Arabic speaker

  • Duties: Supervise service team; ensure service standards and table turns; handle guest complaints and VIPs; train and mentor wait staff.
  • Requirements: Fluent Arabic; 3+ years supervisory FOH experience; strong leadership and upselling skills; flexible shifts.

Captain Waiter

  • Duties: Lead a section during service; coordinate orders with kitchen; mentor junior waiters; ensure accurate billing and guest satisfaction.
  • Requirements: 2–4 years experience as senior waiter; strong communication; POS experience; professional demeanor.

Waiter

  • Duties: Take orders; serve food and beverages; maintain table cleanliness; support team during peak service.
  • Requirements: 1–3 years F&B experience; friendly, efficient, and guest-focused; basic menu knowledge.

Head Barista

  • Duties: Oversee coffee program; train baristas; maintain equipment and inventory; develop beverage menu and quality control.
  • Requirements: 3+ years barista experience with supervisory background; latte art and espresso extraction expertise; knowledge of coffee origins and brewing methods.

Senior Barista

  • Duties: Lead shifts; prepare specialty drinks; mentor junior baristas; ensure consistent beverage quality.
  • Requirements: 2+ years experience; strong technical coffee skills; customer service orientation.

Barista

  • Duties: Prepare espresso-based drinks and brewed coffee; maintain cleanliness; assist with inventory and stock rotation.
  • Requirements: 6 months–2 years experience preferred; basic coffee knowledge; punctual and reliable.

Head Chef

  • Duties: Lead kitchen operations; menu development; cost control and supplier management; ensure food quality and safety.
  • Requirements: 5+ years as head or senior chef; strong leadership and menu planning skills; HACCP/food safety certification preferred.

Sous Chef

  • Duties: Support Head Chef; supervise daily kitchen production; manage staff rotas; step in during service.
  • Requirements: 3–5 years in a supervisory kitchen role; strong technical skills; ability to manage pressure.

CDP Hot/Cold Kitchen

  • Duties: Oversee hot/cold sections; execute menu items to standard; coordinate with sous/head chef on prep and plating.
  • Requirements: 2–4 years as Chef de Partie; solid technical skills in assigned section; attention to detail.

CDP Pastry

  • Duties: Run pastry station; prepare desserts and baked goods; maintain pastry mise en place and quality.
  • Requirements: 2–4 years pastry experience; knowledge of pastry techniques and plating; creativity.

DCDP Hot/Cold Kitchen

  • Duties: Assist CDP; manage prep lists; ensure consistency and portion control.
  • Requirements: 1–3 years kitchen experience; willingness to learn; reliable and organized.

DCDP Pastry

  • Duties: Support pastry CDP; prepare doughs, creams, and desserts; maintain hygiene standards.
  • Requirements: 1–3 years pastry or bakery experience; attention to detail.

Commis

  • Duties: Basic food preparation; assist stations with prep and cleaning; follow recipes and portion control.
  • Requirements: Entry to 1 year experience; culinary diploma preferred but not mandatory; eagerness to learn.

Commis Pastry

  • Duties: Assist pastry team with prep, baking, and plating; maintain ingredient stocks.

Store Keeper

Steward
