Kapitol Dubai is recruiting professional, attentive, and guest‑focused Waiters / Waitresses to join our pre‑opening front‑of‑house team. As we prepare to launch Dubai’s newest social gaming and lifestyle destination, this role is central to delivering polished service, shaping guest journeys, and setting the tone for Kapitol’s hospitality standards. Role Overview

As a Waiter at Kapitol you will be responsible for delivering warm, efficient, and accurate table service across dining and social areas. You will work closely with the Hostess, Bartenders, kitchen, and management to ensure timely delivery, correct presentation, and a consistently high level of guest satisfaction. During pre‑opening you will help establish service routines, learn menu and beverage offerings, and support trial shifts and events.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests courteously and assist with menu presentation and daily specials.
• Take accurate orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar using the POS/reservation system.
• Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring correct presentation, portioning, and timing.
• Provide menu guidance including ingredient details, allergen information, and pairing suggestions.
• Anticipate guest needs by refilling drinks, clearing plates, and maintaining table readiness.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar to manage course timing and resolve any service issues.
• Handle guest feedback professionally and escalate concerns to supervisors when required.
• Maintain table settings and cleanliness to Kapitol standards between covers.
• Process payments accurately and follow cash‑handling and POS reconciliation procedures.
• Support events and private functions with efficient service and adherence to event run‑sheets.
• Participate in pre‑opening training and trial shifts; contribute to the development of service SOPs.
• Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene protocols at all times.

Requirements

• Prior restaurant service experience in casual, upscale, or high‑volume venues preferred.
• Strong communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Professional presentation and a guest‑centric attitude.
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic cash handling.
• Knowledge of food safety and allergen awareness.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Good physical stamina for standing and moving throughout shifts.
• Team player mentality with a proactive approach to service and learning.
• Valid UAE work authorization or clear visa status; include visa details in your application.
• Willingness to participate in trial shifts and practical assessments during recruitment.
