Security Team Leader

Creekside Hotel Dubai is seeking a confident, experienced Security Team Leader to oversee the safety and security of guests, staff, and property. This leadership role requires a calm, decisive professional who can manage a security team, implement robust procedures, and coordinate responses to incidents while maintaining excellent guest relations. You will develop and enforce security protocols, lead patrols and briefings, and work closely with hotel management and local authorities to ensure a safe, welcoming environment for everyone on site.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Supervise, schedule, and mentor the security team; conduct briefings and performance reviews.
• Patrols and Monitoring: Plan and lead regular patrols, monitor CCTV and access control systems, and ensure perimeter and public-area security.
• Incident Management: Respond to incidents, investigate occurrences, prepare incident reports, and coordinate emergency responses.
• Policy and Procedures: Develop, update, and enforce security policies, standard operating procedures, and loss-prevention measures.
• Liaison: Coordinate with local law enforcement, emergency services, and internal departments during incidents and for routine security matters.
• Training and Drills: Deliver training on safety, crowd control, fire procedures, and crisis management; organize regular emergency drills.
• Access Control: Oversee guest and contractor access procedures, key control, and secure handling of sensitive areas.
• Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with local regulations and hotel safety standards; assist with audits and risk assessments.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in security roles with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory capacity; hospitality security experience preferred.
• Qualifications: Valid security certification or license as required by local regulations; first aid and fire safety certifications preferred.
• Skills: Strong leadership, situational awareness, conflict-resolution, and report-writing skills.
• Attributes: Calm under pressure, decisive, discreet, and professional with high integrity.
• Technical: Familiarity with CCTV, access control systems, incident reporting tools, and basic IT.
• Legal and Regulatory: Knowledge of local laws and regulations related to security and public safety.
• Availability: Willingness to work shifts, nights, weekends, and be on-call when required.
• Language: Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage.
