Majestic Hotel Group is seeking a dedicated, detail‑oriented Room Attendant to join our Housekeeping team. As a Room Attendant, you will be responsible for cleaning guest rooms, replenishing amenities, reporting maintenance issues, and ensuring that every room meets Majestic’s high standards of hygiene and presentation. Duties and Responsibilities
- Room Cleaning — Clean and service guest rooms according to hotel standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms.
- Amenity Replenishment — Restock towels, linens, toiletries, and in‑room supplies as required.
- Linen Handling — Collect used linens and deliver fresh ones; follow proper sorting and storage procedures.
- Maintenance Reporting — Identify and report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the supervisor.
- Guest Interaction — Greet guests politely when encountered and assist with simple requests when possible.
- Quality Checks — Ensure all rooms are fully stocked, clean, and guest‑ready before marking them as complete.
- Cart & Equipment Care — Maintain a clean, organized housekeeping cart and ensure equipment is used safely.
- Lost & Found — Follow hotel procedures for handling and reporting lost items.
- Public Area Support — Assist with cleaning corridors, service areas, and other assigned spaces when needed.
- Compliance — Follow all hygiene, safety, and sanitation guidelines, including proper chemical handling.
Requirements
- Experience — Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Education — Basic education; housekeeping or hygiene certification is an advantage.
- Skills — Strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work independently.
- Physical Ability — Able to stand for long periods, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks safely.
- Personal Attributes — Reliable, hardworking, polite, and committed to cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
- Language — Basic English communication; additional languages are a plus.
- Availability — Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Work Authorization — Legal right to work in the UAE or the country where the role is based.
