Duties and Responsibilities

  • Shift leadership: Lead the service team during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth service flow, timely table turns, and consistent standards.
  • Team coordination: Assign duties, manage floor rotations, and provide on‑the‑spot coaching to servers and hosts.
  • Guest relations: Greet guests, manage reservations and seating, handle guest feedback and recovery with professionalism.
  • Standards enforcement: Ensure table settings, presentation, cleanliness, and service rituals meet brand expectations.
  • Operational support: Oversee side work, assist with opening/closing tasks, and support inventory checks and stock rotation.
  • Reporting: Communicate shift notes to management, escalate operational issues, and contribute to daily briefings.

Requirements

  • Experience: 1–3 years in a supervisory or senior server role in restaurants, cafés, or hotels; upscale dining experience preferred.
  • Skills: Strong communication, leadership, conflict resolution, and attention to detail.
  • Qualifications: Food safety awareness or certification preferred; fluent in English; additional languages advantageous.
  • Availability: Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Attributes: Energetic, service‑oriented, punctual, calm under pressure, and a natural team motivator.
