Supervisor – Tania’s Teahouse

Role Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated Supervisor to support the daily operations of Tania’s Teahouse. In this role, you’ll be responsible for overseeing staff, ensuring smooth daily operations, managing guest experiences, and assisting with the organization of events. You’ll work closely with the management team to ensure we meet our high standards of service, cleanliness, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Shift Management: Supervise and lead a team of staff during shifts, ensuring that service standards are upheld and tasks are completed efficiently.
• Customer Service Excellence: Ensure that every guest receives a memorable experience by maintaining high service standards and resolving any customer concerns promptly.
• Staff Training & Development: Assist in training new staff members, providing ongoing coaching to the team, and promoting a positive, collaborative work environment.
• Event Coordination: Assist in organizing and managing events, ensuring that all logistics, from setup to service, are handled seamlessly.
• Inventory Control: Oversee stock levels of tea, food, and other essentials, ensuring the teahouse is always well-stocked and prepared for busy periods.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the teahouse, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Problem Solving: Address and resolve issues efficiently, maintaining smooth operations and guest satisfaction at all times.

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role in hospitality, preferably within a café, teahouse, or restaurant environment.
• Leadership Skills: A natural leader who can motivate and manage a team, while creating a positive work environment.
• Customer-Focused: A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences for guests.
• Organized & Detail-Oriented: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with staff, management, and guests.
• Event Experience: Experience in organizing and managing events is a plus.
• Problem-Solving: Able to think on your feet and resolve issues promptly with a calm and professional approach.
