IT Officer – The Tower Plaza Hotel Dubai

The Tower Plaza Hotel Dubai is seeking a knowledgeable and proactive IT Officer to support the hotel’s technology infrastructure, ensure smooth system operations, and provide technical assistance to all departments. The ideal candidate will maintain the hotel’s IT systems, troubleshoot issues efficiently, and uphold data security and operational continuity.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for hardware, software, network systems, and hotel applications.
• Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, POS systems, and related equipment.
• Monitor system performance and ensure the stability of the hotel’s IT infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist in maintaining the hotel’s PMS, POS, and other operational systems.
• Ensure data backup procedures, system updates, and security protocols are followed.
• Coordinate with external vendors for system maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.
• Maintain accurate documentation of IT assets, configurations, and support activities.
• Support the implementation of new technologies and digital solutions within the hotel.
• Uphold the hotel’s IT policies, cybersecurity standards, and confidentiality guidelines.

Requirements

• Previous experience as an IT Officer or IT Support Technician, preferably in a hotel environment.
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, networking, operating systems, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with hotel systems such as Opera PMS, Micros POS, and IPTV is an advantage.
• Good understanding of cybersecurity practices and data protection.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and respond to urgent technical issues.
• Relevant IT certifications or a degree in Information Technology is preferred.
