Warwick Doha is seeking a skilled and passionate Commis II – Cold Kitchen to join our talented culinary team. This role is ideal for individuals who have a strong foundation in food preparation and a genuine passion for creating high‑quality cold dishes with precision and creativity. As part of our kitchen brigade, you will support the Chef de Partie and Demi Chef in delivering consistent, beautifully presented items that reflect the standards of an international hospitality brand. Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of cold kitchen items, including salads, sandwiches, canapés, and buffet displays
  • Ensure all food items are prepared according to recipes, portion standards, and quality guidelines
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cold kitchen section at all times
  • Properly store, label, and rotate ingredients to maintain freshness and minimize waste
  • Support senior chefs during service and contribute to smooth kitchen operations
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards in compliance with HACCP guidelines
  • Assist in receiving and checking deliveries to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Communicate effectively with team members and other kitchen sections
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef

Requirements

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a similar role within a hotel or restaurant kitchen
  • Strong knowledge of cold kitchen preparation and presentation techniques
  • Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
  • Positive attitude, teamwork spirit, and willingness to learn
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Culinary diploma or relevant certification is an advantage
