We’re Hiring: Chef de Partie – Gates Hospitality, Abu Dhabi 

Gates Hospitality is expanding our culinary team in Abu Dhabi, and we are looking for a skilled, passionate, and detail‑oriented Chef de Partie to join our Back of House operations. As a CDP, you will play a key leadership role within the kitchen, overseeing a specific section and ensuring that every dish leaving your station meets the highest standards of quality, consistency, and presentation.

We are seeking a culinary professional who thrives in fast‑paced environments, demonstrates strong technical skills, and takes pride in delivering exceptional food. The ideal candidate is organized, creative, and capable of managing their section independently while also supporting junior chefs through training, guidance, and teamwork. You will collaborate closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to maintain smooth kitchen operations, uphold hygiene and safety standards, and contribute to menu development when required.

Position: Chef de Partie

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee a designated kitchen section with efficiency and precision
  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to recipes and brand standards
  • Ensure consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation
  • Train, guide, and support Demi CDPs and Commis Chefs
  • Maintain high levels of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and inventory control
  • Collaborate with senior chefs on menu planning and new dish development
  • Ensure smooth communication and coordination within the kitchen team

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie in a high‑quality restaurant or hotel
  • Strong culinary skills and deep understanding of kitchen operations
  • Ability to manage a section independently and efficiently
  • Excellent time‑management and organizational abilities
  • Knowledge of food safety and HACCP standards
  • Positive attitude, leadership qualities, and a passion for cooking
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment
