We are seeking a skilled, friendly Barista to join Miray Group’s restaurant team in Dubai. This role suits someone passionate about coffee craft, guest service, and maintaining a clean, efficient coffee station. You will prepare espresso‑based drinks and specialty beverages to high standards, engage guests with product knowledge, and support smooth café operations during busy service periods. The ideal candidate combines speed, consistency, and a warm, guest‑focused manner.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare coffee and specialty beverages to recipe and presentation standards.
  • Operate and maintain espresso machines and grinders; perform routine cleaning and basic troubleshooting.
  • Manage inventory and stock levels for coffee beans, milk, syrups, and supplies; report shortages.
  • Serve guests with a friendly, professional attitude and provide product recommendations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station and service area, following hygiene and safety standards.
  • Train and mentor junior baristas when required and assist with shift handovers.
  • Handle POS transactions accurately and assist with opening and closing procedures.

Requirements

  • Previous barista experience preferred; formal barista training or coffee certifications are an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of espresso extraction, milk steaming, and drink recipes.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work quickly and consistently in a high‑volume environment.
  • Professional appearance and reliable punctuality.
  • Basic numeracy and POS experience for handling orders and payments.
  • Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Multilingual ability is a plus.
