Leto Dubai Mall is hiring an Assistant Restaurant Manager to support our front‑of‑house leadership at a refined dining destination. You will work closely with the Restaurant Manager to deliver seamless service, coach and motivate the team, and ensure operational excellence during busy shifts. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, organized, and experienced in staff development, guest recovery, and daily operational tasks in a fast‑paced, upscale environment. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support daily operations: Assist the Restaurant Manager with opening/closing procedures, shift planning, and smooth service flow.
  • Team supervision: Lead and motivate service staff during shifts; provide on‑the‑job coaching and performance feedback.
  • Service quality: Monitor guest interactions, ensure standards are met, and step in to resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Training and development: Deliver training sessions, onboard new hires, and help implement service improvements and SOPs.
  • Operational tasks: Manage reservations, seating plans, and floor rotations; oversee side work, table setups, and cleanliness.
  • Inventory and admin support: Assist with stock checks, supplier coordination, and basic reporting; support cost‑control measures.
  • Acting manager duties: Stand in for the Restaurant Manager when required, making operational decisions and leading the team.

Requirements

  • Experience: 2–4 years in supervisory or assistant manager roles within restaurants, cafés, or hotels; experience in upscale or high‑volume outlets preferred.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, excellent communication, conflict resolution, and the ability to coach and motivate staff.
  • Qualifications: Hospitality certification or diploma preferred; fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Availability: Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Attributes: Hands‑on, organized, guest‑centric, calm under pressure, and committed to team development.
