Restaurant Manager Duties and Responsibilities

Restaurant Manager Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 4–6 years in restaurant management, preferably in upscale or high-volume outlets.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, financial acumen, excellent communication, and problem-solving under pressure.
  • Qualifications: Hospitality diploma or degree preferred; fluent in English; additional languages an advantage.

Assistant Restaurant Manager Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support management: Assist the Restaurant Manager with daily operations and step in as acting manager when required.

  • Operational tasks: Oversee inventory checks, supplier coordination, and assist with cost-control measures.

Assistant Restaurant Manager Requirements

  • Experience: 2–4 years in supervisory or assistant manager roles in restaurants or cafés.
  • Skills: Strong organizational skills, coaching ability, and a hands-on approach to service.
  • Qualifications: Hospitality certification preferred; fluent in English; adaptable to a dynamic environment.
  • Attributes: Reliable, proactive, and able to maintain composure during busy service periods.

Restaurant Supervisor Duties and Responsibilities
