MONTAUK Restaurant, a new luxury dining destination on Downtown Boulevard, Dubai, is opening soon and we’re assembling a founding team of hospitality professionals who share our commitment to craft, service, and growth. We’re creating an elevated Emirati‑fusion dining experience that pairs seasonal, locally sourced ingredients with refined technique and warm, intuitive service.
As part of our launch team you’ll help shape standards, guest journeys, and the culture of a restaurant built to impress both local diners and international visitors. Duties and Responsibilities
Barista
- Prepare espresso‑based and filter coffee beverages to recipe and presentation standards.
- Maintain coffee station cleanliness, calibrate grinders, and perform daily equipment checks.
- Execute latte art and premium beverage garnishes; manage POS transactions and to‑go orders.
- Advise guests on coffee selections and support retail coffee sales.
Waitress
- Greet and seat guests, present menus, explain specials, and take accurate orders.
- Deliver food and beverages promptly; manage table turns and maintain dining room standards.
- Provide attentive service, handle dietary requests, and resolve minor guest issues professionally.
- Assist with side work, table setup, and closing duties.
Line Cook
- Execute menu items consistently across assigned station(s) following standardized recipes.
- Maintain mise en place, portion control, and plating specifications during service.
- Support inventory rotation, receive deliveries, and assist with daily prep lists.
- Adhere to kitchen safety, sanitation, and HACCP procedures.
Kitchen Helper
- Perform basic food preparation: washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning under supervision.
- Clean and sanitize workstations, equipment, and dishware; maintain back‑of‑house hygiene.
- Receive and store deliveries, check temperatures, and label stock.
- Assist with basic plating and expediting during peak service.
Requirements
- Barista: 1–2 years in specialty coffee or upscale F&B; strong espresso skills; POS experience; basic latte art; excellent guest manner.
- Waitress: 1–3 years in fine dining or hotel restaurants; fluent English; additional languages advantageous; strong communication and upselling skills.
- Line Cook: 2+ years in a professional kitchen; experience on hot line stations; ability to work under pressure; food safety certification preferred.
- Kitchen Helper: 6–12 months in a commercial kitchen preferred; physically fit; basic knife skills a plus; flexible with shifts.
- All roles: legal right to work in the UAE; flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and public holidays; punctuality, professionalism, and a teamwork mindset.
- Desirable: HACCP or equivalent food safety certification, hospitality training certificates, and references from previous employers.
