We are seeking a professional Reservation Agent to join Flora Hospitality’s Dubai team. The Reservation Agent will be the first point of contact for guests making room and service bookings, responsible for delivering a seamless, guest-focused reservation experience across phone, email, and online channels. This role requires strong knowledge of Opera / Oracle Hospitality Cloud, excellent communication skills, and a commercial mindset to maximize room revenue through accurate rate application, upselling, and inventory management. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced hotel environment, pays close attention to detail, and works collaboratively with Front Office, Sales, and Revenue teams to ensure high standards of guest service and operational efficiency.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage reservations across phone, email, and online channels using Opera / Oracle Hospitality Cloud.
  • Process bookings accurately: rates, room types, special requests, deposits, and cancellations.
  • Respond to guest inquiries promptly and professionally, providing clear information on availability, policies, and promotions.
  • Coordinate with Front Office and Housekeeping to confirm room status and special arrangements.
  • Perform upselling and cross-selling to increase revenue and enhance guest stays.
  • Maintain reservation records and produce daily/weekly reports as required.
  • Handle group bookings and allotments when needed and liaise with Sales/Revenue teams.
  • Resolve reservation issues and follow escalation procedures for complex cases.

Requirements

  • Qualification: Hospitality degree or diploma.
  • Experience: Proven experience in reservations or front office roles; hands-on experience with Opera / Oracle Hospitality Cloud preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent verbal and written English; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Customer Service: Strong guest-service orientation with professional telephone manner.
  • Technical: Comfortable with property management systems, email, and MS Office.
  • Attributes: Detail-oriented, organized, able to work shifts, and capable of multitasking under pressure.
