Flora Hospitality is looking for a Guest Service Agent Front Office to join our Dubai team. The GSA Front Office is the face of the hotel, responsible for delivering warm, efficient, and professional service at arrival, during the stay, and at departure. This role requires strong knowledge of Opera / Oracle Hospitality Cloud, excellent communication and problem‑solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment. The ideal candidate anticipates guest needs, resolves issues with calm professionalism, and works closely with Reservations, Housekeeping, and Revenue teams to ensure smooth operations and memorable guest experiences.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Welcome and check in guests with a friendly, professional manner and complete all registration procedures.
- Manage check‑outs and billing accurately; handle payments, folios, and express check‑out requests.
- Operate Opera / Oracle Hospitality Cloud to update room status, process reservations, and manage guest profiles.
- Handle guest inquiries and requests via phone, email, and in person; coordinate with other departments to fulfill special requests.
- Perform upselling and room upgrades to maximize revenue and enhance guest satisfaction.
- Maintain front desk logs and reports; communicate shift handovers and follow escalation procedures for incidents.
- Support concierge tasks such as arranging transport, restaurant reservations, and local information.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, safety procedures, and data privacy standards.
Requirements
- Qualification: Hospitality degree or diploma.
- Experience: Previous front office or guest service experience; Opera / Oracle Hospitality Cloud experience preferred.
- Skills: Excellent spoken and written English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Customer Service: Strong guest‑service orientation, professional telephone manner, and polished interpersonal skills.
- Attributes: Detail‑oriented, organized, able to work rotating shifts, and capable of handling pressure with composure.
- Technical: Comfortable with property management systems, email, and MS Office.
