Bartender

Creekside Hotel Dubai is seeking a skilled and personable Bartender to join our vibrant F&B team. This role is ideal for a creative mixologist who delivers consistent, high-quality drinks, engages guests with warm service, and helps create memorable bar experiences. You will manage bar operations during shifts, maintain stock and presentation standards, and collaborate with the outlet team to support promotions and events. If you combine technical beverage knowledge with strong guest-focus and a calm, efficient approach under pressure, we want you on our team.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Drink Preparation: Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
• Guest Interaction: Greet guests, take orders, make recommendations, and create a welcoming bar atmosphere.
• Bar Maintenance: Keep the bar clean, organized, and stocked; ensure glassware and equipment are sanitized and in good condition.
• Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, and report discrepancies to the F&B Supervisor.
• Cash Handling: Operate POS, process payments accurately, and reconcile takings at shift end.
• Responsible Service: Monitor guest consumption, follow local laws and hotel policies on alcohol service, and handle difficult situations professionally.
• Promotions and Events: Support themed nights, cocktail promotions, and private events; contribute ideas for menu updates and signature drinks.
• Teamwork: Coordinate with servers, kitchen, and management to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 1–2 years bartending experience in hotels, bars, or restaurants; mixology experience preferred.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer; ability to prepare classic and contemporary drinks.
• Customer Service: Excellent interpersonal skills, friendly demeanor, and ability to engage guests professionally.
• Technical: Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic stock control.
• Attributes: Calm under pressure, organized, punctual, and attentive to detail.
• Certifications: Responsible service or alcohol safety certification is an advantage.
• Availability: Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Language: Good command of English; additional languages are a plus.
