Duties and responsibilities

  • Strategic leadership: Develop and execute annual and quarterly sales plans aligned with revenue and market-share targets.
  • Team management: Recruit, mentor, and evaluate sales staff; set KPIs, conduct regular coaching, and foster a collaborative sales culture.
  • Key account development: Identify, negotiate, and secure corporate, MICE, and group accounts; maintain strong relationships with top clients and industry partners.
  • Cross-functional coordination: Work closely with Revenue Management, Marketing, Reservations, and Operations to align pricing, promotions, and distribution strategies.
  • Business development: Lead prospecting initiatives, RFP responses, site inspections, and client presentations; represent the hotel at trade shows and networking events.
  • Reporting and analysis: Monitor sales performance, pipeline health, and market trends; prepare forecasts, budgets, and executive reports.
  • Brand stewardship: Ensure all sales activities reflect Mandarin Premier’s brand standards and local market positioning.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 7 years in hotel sales with at least 2 years in a leadership role; demonstrated success in corporate and group account acquisition.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred. Professional certifications in sales or revenue management are a plus.
  • Skills: Strong negotiation, presentation, and CRM proficiency; excellent interpersonal and leadership skills; advanced Excel and reporting capabilities.
  • Commercial mindset: Proven ability to translate market insight into revenue-generating strategies and measurable results.
  • Availability: Flexible schedule to attend client events, site visits, and occasional weekend or evening functions.
  • Language: Professional fluency in English; Filipino language skills advantageous.
  • Work authorization: Eligible to work in the Philippines.
