Al Ittihad Private School is welcoming applications from dedicated, passionate Arabic Teachers for the 2026–2027 academic year at our Al Mamzar campus in Dubai. We are looking for an educator who brings language to life, inspires a love for Arabic, and supports students in developing strong reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills. Duties and responsibilities
- Curriculum delivery
Teach Arabic language and literature across assigned grade levels following school and curriculum standards.
Design lessons that build vocabulary, grammar, reading fluency, and writing proficiency. - Cultural integration
Incorporate cultural themes, heritage, and contemporary contexts to deepen students’ appreciation of the Arabic language. - Assessment & reporting
Develop and administer formative and summative assessments; track progress and prepare termly reports.
Participate in parent‑teacher conferences and maintain clear communication with families. - Differentiation & student support
Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of native and non‑native Arabic learners.
Provide targeted support and enrichment where needed. - Classroom management
Maintain a positive, structured, and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and confidence. - Co‑curricular involvement
Support school events, Arabic language activities, cultural celebrations, and competitions. - Collaboration & professional growth
Work with colleagues to align curriculum, share best practices, and participate in professional development.
Uphold school policies, safeguarding standards, and pastoral responsibilities.
Requirements
- Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Arabic Language, Arabic Education, or a related field; teaching certification preferred. - Experience
Minimum 2 years teaching experience in primary or secondary Arabic; experience in international or bilingual schools is an advantage. - Language proficiency
Native or near‑native command of Arabic; strong English communication skills for parent and staff communication. - Skills
Strong understanding of Arabic curriculum standards, effective classroom management, and ability to differentiate instruction.
Proficiency with educational technology and digital tools. - Attributes
Culturally aware, patient, organized, and passionate about language education. - Compliance
Valid UAE work authorization, clear background checks, and willingness to complete onboarding and safeguarding training.
