This role sits at the intersection of relationship management and commercial strategy: you will manage a portfolio of key accounts, lead business development initiatives, and work closely with revenue management and marketing to convert market insight into profitable business. The Senior Sales Manager is expected to be a proactive hunter and trusted advisor to clients, delivering compelling proposals, negotiating contracts, and representing the brand at industry events. Ideal candidates combine strong interpersonal skills with a results-driven mindset, a solid understanding of hotel commercial levers, and the ability to mentor junior sales staff while maintaining hands-on ownership of high-value accounts.

Duties and responsibilities
- Account management — Own and grow a portfolio of corporate, agency, and leisure accounts; maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline activity.
- New business development — Prospect, qualify, and close new corporate and group business; prepare persuasive proposals and RFP responses.
- Client engagement — Conduct regular client visits, site inspections, and presentations; host client events and site tours as needed.
- Collaboration with Revenue Management — Align pricing and packaging with revenue strategies; provide market intelligence to optimize rate and inventory decisions.
- Marketing coordination — Work with marketing and brand teams to develop targeted promotions, collateral, and digital campaigns that support sales objectives.
- Reporting and forecasting — Produce weekly and monthly sales reports, forecasts, and account reviews; track KPIs and contribute to commercial planning.
- Mentorship and training — Support and coach Sales Managers and Executives; share best practices and contribute to a high-performance sales culture.
- Representation — Attend trade shows, industry networking events, and client functions to raise the hotel’s profile and generate leads.
Requirements
- Experience — 4–6 years of hotel sales experience with demonstrable success in corporate and group account management.
- Education — Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- Skills — Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills; strong CRM proficiency (e.g., Salesforce, Opera CRM); advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel.
- Commercial acumen — Ability to analyze market trends and translate insights into actionable sales strategies.
- Communication — Professional fluency in English; strong written and verbal communication.
- Availability — Flexible to attend client meetings, site inspections, and occasional evening or weekend events.
- Work authorization — Eligible to work in the Philippines.
