Job Description:
As a Junior Sous Chef at Ape Hospitality, you will work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to oversee and assist in the daily kitchen operations. You will be responsible for helping to manage kitchen staff, ensure the consistent preparation of high-quality dishes, and maintain a smooth, efficient workflow in the kitchen. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring food preparation is in line with company standards.
- Supervise and support kitchen staff to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Help with food preparation and cooking, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Ensure the kitchen is well-stocked, organized, and clean at all times.
- Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and keeping track of stock levels.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene according to local regulations.
- Assist in training and developing junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and support.
- Collaborate with other chefs to create new menu items and improve existing dishes.
- Work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to ensure proper kitchen communication and smooth operation.
- Handle and resolve any kitchen issues that arise during service.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar kitchen role.
- Previous experience in a fine dining or high-volume kitchen environment is preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and passion for culinary excellence.
