Role Overview: Hostess

As a Hostess at BOCA, you will play a vital role in setting the tone for our guests’ experience. You will be the first point of contact for visitors, ensuring that they feel welcome and valued from the moment they arrive. Key Responsibilities

• Greeting and Seating Guests: As a Hostess, your primary responsibility will be to warmly greet guests as they enter the restaurant and promptly seat them at their reserved table or a suitable available table. You will create a welcoming atmosphere for guests as soon as they step into the restaurant.

• Managing Reservations: You will manage the restaurant’s reservation system, ensuring that bookings are accurately recorded, and that guests are seated in accordance with their reservation times. You will also manage walk-in guests and ensure that waiting times are communicated clearly.

• Customer Service Excellence: You will provide exceptional customer service by ensuring that guests feel valued and attended to from the moment they walk through the door. This includes answering any questions, offering menu recommendations, and resolving minor guest concerns in a professional manner.

• Communication with Front-of-House Team: You will work closely with the restaurant’s Front-of-House team, including waitstaff, bartenders, and managers, to ensure smooth operations. Clear and efficient communication is key to ensuring guests have an enjoyable and seamless experience.
