Floor manager – Ape Dubai

Job Description:

APE Hospitality is seeking an experienced and motivated Floor Manager to join our team in Dubai. As a Floor Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the front-of-house, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a seamless flow of operations. You will manage the floor staff, coordinate with the kitchen, and ensure that every guest receives an outstanding experience from the moment they enter to the moment they leave.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage the front-of-house team, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
• Lead, train, and motivate staff to meet high standards of customer service.
• Greet and assist guests, ensuring they receive a personalized and exceptional dining experience.
• Handle guest complaints, feedback, and inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
• Collaborate with the kitchen and bar team to ensure seamless communication and delivery of food and beverages.
• Ensure all safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards are adhered to across the dining area.
• Manage floor shifts, ensuring proper coverage during peak and off-peak hours.
• Maintain inventory control, ensuring that supplies are stocked and organized.
• Oversee cash handling and POS systems, ensuring accuracy in billing and transactions.
• Coordinate with management on daily and weekly operations to optimize service quality and operational efficiency.
• Monitor floor operations to ensure compliance with company policies, health standards, and operational guidelines.

Job Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Floor Manager or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
• Knowledge of restaurant management software and POS systems.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• A positive, can-do attitude and a passion for hospitality.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
