Ideal candidate profile and mandatory experience
- Licensed venue experience is required; candidates must have worked in standalone venues with alcohol service.
- Experience in fine dining or high‑volume festive restaurants is a strong advantage.
- Professional presentation, polished guest manner and strong communication skills.
- Ability to perform under pressure, follow service sequences and maintain composure during peak periods.
- Team players who are coachable, punctual and ready for an intensive pre‑opening training schedule.
Duties and responsibilities (role highlights)
Head Waiters
- Lead floor service and supervise FOH during shifts.
- Ensure service standards, table sequencing and guest satisfaction.
- Mentor and coordinate commis waiters and runners; assist with pre‑opening training.
Bartenders
- Prepare classic and signature cocktails consistently; manage bar mise en place.
- Maintain stock control, ensure responsible service of alcohol, and keep the bar area organised and hygienic.
- Engage guests with confident, friendly service and upsell where appropriate.
Hostess
- Manage reservations, seating plans and guest arrival experience.
- Greet guests professionally, handle waitlists and coordinate with FOH for smooth seating flow.
- Communicate reservations and special requests accurately to the service team.
Commis Waiters
- Support wait staff with timely food running, table clearing and resetting.
- Assist with mise en place, basic food handling and maintaining dining area standards.
- Learn service patterns and develop guest interaction skills under supervision.
Runners
- Deliver food and beverages accurately and promptly between kitchen and floor.
- Assist with clearing, resetting and ensuring service stations are stocked.
- Support FOH during peak periods and maintain safe tray handling protocols.
Requirements (common)
- Minimum relevant experience in licensed venues; fine‑dining or festive restaurant experience preferred.
- Valid work eligibility for UAE.
- Strong time management, teamwork and a guest‑first attitude.
- Willingness to attend pre‑opening training, rehearsals and service run‑throughs.
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
- Good command of English; additional languages advantageous.
