Duties and Responsibilities
Bartender
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages to guests with speed and accuracy.
- Mix cocktails according to standard recipes and create signature drinks when required.
- Maintain bar station cleanliness, restock supplies, and manage inventory levels.
- Check IDs and ensure responsible service of alcohol.
- Engage guests with friendly, professional service and product recommendations.
- Handle cash and POS transactions accurately and reconcile at shift end.
- Support events and pre‑opening setup tasks as required.
Waitress
- Greet and seat guests promptly and present menus with a welcoming attitude.
- Take orders accurately and relay them to kitchen and bar teams.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while ensuring correct presentation and timing.
- Monitor guest needs and respond to requests to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Process payments and handle billing queries professionally.
- Maintain dining area cleanliness and assist with side work and setup for service periods.
- Collaborate with colleagues to manage busy shifts and special events.
Runner
- Support service flow by delivering food and beverages from kitchen/bar to tables quickly and safely.
- Assist servers and bartenders with clearing plates, refilling water, and resetting tables.
- Maintain communication between kitchen and front‑of‑house to ensure timely service.
- Keep service stations stocked with condiments, cutlery, napkins, and glassware.
- Follow hygiene and safety procedures when handling food and equipment.
- Help with opening and closing tasks including basic cleaning and restocking.
Requirements
Bartender
- Previous bartending experience in a busy bar, pub, or restaurant.
- Knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits.
- Valid food handling or alcohol service certification where applicable.
- Strong cash handling and POS experience.
- Excellent communication and guest service skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
Waitress
- Prior experience in table service or hospitality preferred.
- Polished, friendly manner and strong interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods and carry trays.
- Comfortable with shift work and peak service hours.
Runner
- Previous experience in a support or runner role is an advantage but not essential.
- Physically fit and able to move quickly and safely in a busy environment.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and follow direction from senior staff.
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends.
