Waiter / Waitress Role overview

Join Creneau Hospitality as a Waiter / Waitress and deliver warm, efficient table service that turns first-time guests into regulars. You’ll work closely with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth service, accurate orders, and memorable dining experiences in a fast-paced environment.


Key responsibilities

  • Deliver attentive table service: take orders, serve food and beverages, and check back to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Menu knowledge: explain dishes, recommend pairings, and upsell specials and add-ons.
  • Order accuracy: communicate clearly with kitchen and bar teams; ensure timely and correct delivery.
  • Maintain standards: set and clear tables, polish glassware, and keep service stations stocked and tidy.
  • Guest relations: handle enquiries and minor complaints professionally; escalate issues when needed.
  • Cash and POS handling: process bills and payments accurately and follow cash-handling procedures.

Requirements

  • Experience: previous waiter/waitress or hospitality experience preferred but not essential for strong candidates.
  • Skills: excellent communication, friendly manner, and ability to multitask under pressure.
  • Attributes: punctual, presentable, team-oriented, and guest-focused.
  • Availability: flexible to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays; immediate start preferred.
  • Languages: fluent English required; Arabic or other languages are an advantage.
