Service Technician – Wellfit Masaar
Wellfit Masaar is looking for a Service Technician to keep the club’s equipment and facilities running safely and smoothly from the day it opens. You’ll perform routine maintenance and repairs on gym equipment and club systems, respond quickly to maintenance requests, and carry out regular safety checks across the facility, including pools and mechanical systems. This role is essential to member safety and satisfaction, so we’re looking for someone practical, detail-oriented, and comfortable with basic electrical and plumbing work, ideally with prior experience in a gym or hospitality setting. As part of the founding team, you’ll help set up maintenance processes and standards for a brand-new club, with the flexibility to respond to issues as they arise.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on gym equipment and club facilities
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests to minimize equipment downtime
- Conduct regular safety checks on equipment, pools, and mechanical systems
- Maintain maintenance logs and coordinate with external contractors as needed
- Ensure the club consistently meets health, safety, and cleanliness standards
Requirements
- Prior experience in facilities or equipment maintenance, ideally in a gym or hospitality setting
- Working knowledge of gym equipment, electrical, and plumbing basics
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to respond quickly to maintenance issues, including flexible hours
- Relevant technical certification is an advantage
