We are seeking a proactive, customer‑focused Retail Sales Supervisor to support store leadership and drive sales performance across shifts. This hands‑on role combines frontline coaching, daily operational oversight, and a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences. The ideal candidate motivates teams, maintains visual and service standards, and helps translate commercial objectives into measurable results.


Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Support: Assist the Store Manager in achieving daily and weekly sales targets; monitor KPIs and implement short‑term actions to close performance gaps.
  • Team Supervision: Lead and motivate sales associates during shifts; coach on selling techniques, product knowledge, and customer engagement.
  • Customer Service: Ensure high standards of service; handle customer queries and escalations professionally and promptly.
  • Shift Management: Open/close the sales floor as required; manage shift handovers, staff allocation, and break schedules.
  • Visual Merchandising: Maintain merchandising and display standards; execute promotional setups and ensure pricing accuracy.
  • Stock Control: Support stock replenishment, back‑room organization, and regular stock counts; report discrepancies.
  • Cash and Loss Prevention: Supervise cash handling procedures; enforce loss prevention and safety policies.
  • Reporting: Prepare basic shift reports, sales summaries, and incident logs for store management.

Requirements

  • Experience: 2–4 years in retail sales with at least 1 year in a supervisory or team‑lead role.
  • Skills: Strong customer service orientation; proven ability to coach and motivate sales teams; confident communicator in English.
  • Commercial Awareness: Comfortable working with sales targets and basic KPI tracking; ability to translate data into action.
  • Technical: Familiarity with POS systems, basic cash handling, and inventory tools; competent with mobile devices and basic MS Office.
  • Personal Attributes: Energetic, reliable, organized, and resilient under pressure; positive attitude and solution‑oriented mindset.
  • Availability: Flexible to work retail hours including weekends and public holidays; able to cover shifts across Abu Dhabi and Dubai when required.
  • Education: High school diploma required; diploma in Retail Management or related field preferred.

Performance Indicators

  • Sales Achievement: Percentage of shift sales vs. target.
  • Conversion Rate: Improvement in customer conversion during supervised shifts.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Feedback scores and complaint resolution time.
  • Operational Accuracy: Cash handling accuracy and stock variance metrics.
  • Team Development: Staff retention, punctuality, and completion of training milestones.
