Lifeguard

Majestic Hotel Group is seeking a vigilant, responsible, and guest‑focused Lifeguard to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all guests using our swimming pools and recreational facilities. This role is ideal for individuals who are confident swimmers, calm under pressure, and committed to maintaining a safe, enjoyable environment. As a Lifeguard, you will monitor pool activity, enforce safety rules, respond to emergencies, and provide first aid when required. You will also assist with pool cleanliness, equipment checks, and guest interaction. Duties and Responsibilities

• Pool Supervision — Monitor pool areas at all times to ensure guest safety and prevent accidents.
• Emergency Response — Perform rescues, administer first aid or CPR, and follow emergency procedures when necessary.
• Safety Enforcement — Ensure guests follow pool rules, depth guidelines, and safety protocols.
• Guest Assistance — Provide friendly, helpful support to guests, answer questions, and offer guidance on pool usage.
• Facility Maintenance — Check water quality, temperature, and cleanliness; report any issues to the supervisor.
• Equipment Care — Inspect and maintain rescue equipment, first aid kits, and poolside tools.
• Incident Reporting — Document accidents, injuries, or safety concerns accurately and promptly.
• Cleanliness — Assist with maintaining clean pool decks, loungers, towels, and surrounding areas.
• Coordination — Work closely with Recreation, Engineering, and Housekeeping teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Compliance — Follow all health, safety, and sanitation regulations, including chemical handling guidelines.

Requirements

• Experience — Previous lifeguard or pool safety experience preferred; fresh certified candidates are welcome.
• Certification — Valid Lifeguard Certification, First Aid, and CPR training (international or UAE‑recognized).
• Skills — Strong swimming ability, quick decision‑making, and excellent observation skills.
• Physical Fitness — Able to swim confidently, perform rescues, and work outdoors for extended periods.
• Personal Attributes — Alert, responsible, calm under pressure, and guest‑friendly.
• Language — Basic English communication; additional languages are an advantage.
• Availability — Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Work Authorization — Legal right to work in the UAE or the country where the role is based.
