Kitchen Assistant – Dubai & Middle East Branches

We are looking for hardworking, reliable, and detail‑oriented Kitchen Assistants to support our culinary teams across Dubai and the Middle East. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about food preparation, eager to learn, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth kitchen operations and supporting chefs across all sections.

Duties & Responsibilities

Food Preparation Support

• Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients.
• Support chefs with mise en place and station readiness.
• Ensure ingredients are stored, labeled, and rotated properly.

Kitchen Operations

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, storage areas, and equipment.
• Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans using proper sanitation procedures.
• Assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
• Dispose of waste safely and maintain overall kitchen hygiene.

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
• Support colleagues during busy periods and contribute to a positive team environment.
• Participate in on‑the‑job training and skill‑building activities.

Health & Safety

• Follow all hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.
• Report any maintenance or safety issues promptly.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a kitchen or stewarding role is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Middle East experience preferred; Dubai experience is an advantage.
• Fluency in English required; additional languages are a plus.
