IT Officer – The Tower Plaza Hotel

The Tower Plaza Hotel is seeking a proactive and technically skilled IT Officer to support the hotel’s technology infrastructure, ensure smooth system operations, and provide timely assistance to all departments. The ideal candidate will be solutions‑driven, organized, and committed to maintaining high standards of data security and operational efficiency.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to all hotel departments for hardware, software, network, and system issues
• Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, POS systems, and other IT equipment
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues
• Maintain and update hotel systems including PMS, POS, telephone systems, and back‑office applications
• Ensure data security, backups, and system integrity are consistently maintained
• Coordinate with external vendors for system upgrades, repairs, and maintenance
• Maintain inventory of IT equipment, licenses, and software
• Support the implementation of new technologies and digital solutions
• Prepare IT reports and documentation as required
• Respond promptly to IT support requests and ensure minimal downtime

Requirements

• Previous experience as an IT Officer or IT Support Technician, preferably in hospitality
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking, and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with hotel systems (PMS, POS, PABX, CCTV, Door Lock Systems) is an advantage
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and data protection practices
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility to work shifts or respond to urgent issues when required
