Position Summary

Zea Restaurant Dubai is seeking a polished, welcoming, and service‑oriented Hostess to be the first point of contact for our guests. As the face of the restaurant, the Hostess plays a vital role in shaping the guest experience from the moment they arrive. This position is ideal for someone who embodies warmth, professionalism, and confidence, and who understands the importance of creating a seamless and memorable first impression.

In this role, you will be responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations, coordinating table assignments, and ensuring smooth guest flow throughout the dining area. You will work closely with the service team and management to maintain an organized floor plan, reduce waiting times, and ensure that every guest feels valued and well taken care of. Your ability to communicate clearly, stay composed under pressure, and handle guest inquiries with grace will be essential to your success.

A successful Hostess at Zea is someone who is naturally hospitable, attentive to detail, and able to anticipate guest needs before they arise. You should be comfortable using reservation systems, managing busy peak hours, and maintaining a professional appearance at all times. Duties & Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests with warmth and professionalism.
• Manage reservations, walk‑ins, and waiting lists efficiently.
• Coordinate table assignments and maintain an organized floor plan.
• Communicate guest preferences and special requests to the service team.
• Escort guests to their tables and ensure they are comfortably seated.
• Answer phone calls and assist with reservation inquiries.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the reception and entrance area.
• Support the service team during peak hours.
• Uphold grooming, hygiene, and service standards at all times.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Hostess in a restaurant, lounge, or hotel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, confident, and well‑presented.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
• Familiarity with reservation systems (e.g., SevenRooms, OpenTable) is an advantage.
• Strong customer‑service mindset and positive attitude.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Immediate joiners or short‑notice candidates preferred.
