Food & Beverage Supervisor – The Mangroves Abu Dhabi, LXR Hotels & Resorts | Abu Dhabi Jobs

The Food & Beverage Supervisor leads the floor team to deliver warm, polished service across the hotel’s dining outlets. During pre-opening you will help prepare outlets, train team members on service standards and build the routines that make opening day run smoothly. You will coordinate with the kitchen, handle guest feedback with confidence and set the tone for a team that takes pride in creating memorable guest experiences. Joining the pre-opening food and beverage team at The Mangroves Abu Dhabi, LXR Hotels & Resorts, the Food & Beverage Supervisor will help shape the dining experience from the very first guest. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily restaurant operations and guide the service team during shifts.
  • Ensure outlets are set up and service standards are met before and during service.
  • Welcome guests, handle requests and resolve complaints promptly and politely.
  • Train and coach waiters, hosts and runners on product knowledge and service etiquette.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen and bar, and help control stock and operating equipment.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Captain, Supervisor or senior Waiter in a hotel or upscale restaurant.
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage service and guest-handling skills.
  • Leadership abilities and a positive, hands-on style.
  • Excellent English communication; Arabic or other languages are a plus.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
