We are hiring a proactive, service‑driven Floor Supervisor to support front‑of‑house operations at one of AlphaMind Group’s venues in Dubai. The Floor Supervisor will work closely with the Floor Manager to maintain service standards, coach FOH staff, and ensure smooth, efficient service during peak shifts. This is a full‑time role requiring evening and weekend availability.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Shift supervision: Oversee daily FOH operations during assigned shifts; ensure timely seating, table turns and service flow.
  • Team support: Coach and mentor hosts, servers and runners on service standards, upselling and guest engagement.
  • Service quality: Monitor and enforce service protocols, presentation standards and guest etiquette across the floor.
  • Guest relations: Manage guest enquiries, VIPs and complaints with professionalism and ensure appropriate follow‑up.
  • Reservations and seating: Assist with reservations management, coordinate walk‑ins and optimise seating plans during busy periods.
  • Coordination with kitchen: Communicate service pacing, special requests and timing with the kitchen and bar teams.
  • Operational tasks: Complete shift handovers, incident reports and basic administrative duties such as covers tracking.
  • Event support: Assist in executing private events, buyouts and large covers, including floor plans and staffing adjustments.
  • Health and safety: Ensure FOH compliance with hygiene, licensing and safety procedures.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in a supervisory FOH role in high‑volume restaurants, lounges, hotels or clubs.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, conflict resolution and time management; excellent verbal communication and guest service skills.
  • Commercial focus: Ability to support revenue targets through effective table management and upselling.
  • Availability: Flexible schedule with regular evenings, weekends and public holidays.
  • Languages: Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Presentation: Professional grooming and polished demeanor.
  • Right to work: Legal authorization to work in the UAE.
  • Qualifications: Hospitality diploma or equivalent is a plus.
