Demi Chef de Partie – Dubai & Middle East Branches
We are seeking talented, motivated, and detail‑oriented Demi Chefs de Partie to join our culinary teams across Dubai and the Middle East. This role is ideal for chefs who are ready to take the next step in their career—supporting section leaders, executing high‑quality dishes, and contributing to a smooth, efficient kitchen operation. As a Demi CDP, you will assist in managing a specific station, maintain consistency, and uphold the brand’s culinary standards.
Duties & Responsibilities
Culinary Preparation & Execution
- Assist the Chef de Partie in preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes within your assigned section.
- Follow recipes, portioning guidelines, and presentation standards consistently.
- Ensure mise en place is prepared, organized, and maintained throughout service.
- Support smooth and timely service during peak hours.
Section Support
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of your station at all times.
- Monitor food quality, freshness, and proper storage of ingredients.
- Assist with stock rotation, labeling, and inventory management.
- Report any equipment issues and ensure safe operation of kitchen tools.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with the Chef de Partie, Sous Chefs, and wider culinary team.
- Support Commis Chefs with guidance and on‑the‑job training.
- Participate in daily briefings, tastings, and training sessions.
- Contribute to a positive, respectful, and team‑focused kitchen culture.
Food Safety & Hygiene
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and HACCP guidelines strictly.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in all kitchen areas.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience as a Demi Chef de Partie or strong Commis I in a reputable restaurant or hospitality brand.
- Solid understanding of cooking techniques and kitchen operations.
- Ability to manage a station with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and time‑management skills.
- Middle East experience preferred; Dubai experience is an advantage.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Culinary degree or professional certification is an asset.
- Fluency in English required; additional languages are a plus.
