Commis I, II & III – Dubai & Middle East Branches

We are hiring passionate, hardworking, and detail‑oriented Commis Chefs (I, II & III) to join our culinary teams across Dubai and the Middle East. These roles are ideal for individuals who are committed to learning, growing, and contributing to a high‑performance kitchen environment. As a Commis Chef, you will support food preparation, maintain kitchen standards, and assist in delivering exceptional dishes that reflect our brand’s quality and creativity.


Duties & Responsibilities

Food Preparation & Production

  • Assist in preparing ingredients, mise en place, and basic cooking tasks according to station requirements.
  • Follow recipes, portioning guidelines, and presentation standards consistently.
  • Support senior chefs during service to ensure timely and accurate dish execution.
  • Maintain freshness, quality, and proper storage of all ingredients.

Kitchen Operations

  • Keep workstations clean, organized, and fully stocked at all times.
  • Follow hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards strictly.
  • Assist with receiving, labeling, and storing deliveries.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and report any maintenance issues.

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with the culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Participate in daily briefings, training sessions, and skill‑building activities.
  • Support colleagues during peak hours and contribute to a positive team environment.

Role Differentiation

  • Commis I: Handles more advanced preparation, supports station leadership, and may oversee junior commis during service.
  • Commis II: Executes intermediate tasks, maintains station readiness, and supports Commis I and Demi Chefs.
  • Commis III: Focuses on basic prep, cleaning, and foundational kitchen tasks while learning core culinary skills.

Requirements

  • Experience requirements vary by level:
    • Commis I: 2–3 years of experience in a similar role.
    • Commis II: 1–2 years of experience.
    • Commis III: 6 months–1 year of experience (freshers with strong potential may be considered).
  • Basic knowledge of food preparation, kitchen operations, and hygiene standards.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and time‑management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Middle East experience preferred; Dubai experience is an advantage.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Fluency in English required; additional languages are a plus.
