Job Opportunity: Barbacks — Hey Tiger Dubai 🐯

Introduction

Hey Tiger is opening soon in Dubai, and we are looking for hardworking, reliable Barbacks to support our bar team. This is a vital role in ensuring smooth bar operations, assisting bartenders, and maintaining the energy and efficiency that will make Hey Tiger’s bar a centerpiece of the guest experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Stock Support — Replenish spirits, mixers, garnishes, and glassware throughout service.
  • Bar Setup & Breakdown — Assist with preparing the bar before opening and closing duties after service.
  • Cleanliness & Organization — Maintain a tidy, sanitary bar area; wash and polish glassware; keep stations organized.
  • Assist Bartenders — Provide support during busy shifts by preparing garnishes, refilling ice, and handling basic prep tasks.
  • Guest Service Support — Ensure bartenders can focus on guests by managing behind‑the‑scenes tasks efficiently.
  • Learning & Growth — Gain exposure to mixology techniques and beverage service, with opportunities to grow into bartending roles.
  • Compliance — Follow hygiene, safety, and responsible service standards.

Requirements

  • Experience — Previous hospitality or bar support experience preferred but not essential.
  • Skills — Fast, attentive, physically fit, and able to multitask in a high‑energy environment.
  • Attributes — Reliable, team‑oriented, eager to learn, and committed to supporting the bar team.
  • Availability — Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Language — Basic English proficiency required; Arabic is an advantage.
  • Legal — Must be based in Dubai with the right to work in the UAE.
