Job Opportunity: Bar Manager — Hey Tiger Dubai 🐯

Introduction

Hey Tiger is opening soon in Dubai, and we are seeking an experienced Bar Manager to lead our bar operations. This is a key leadership role within our pre‑opening team, responsible for crafting a dynamic beverage program, managing staff, and ensuring the bar becomes a centerpiece of the Hey Tiger experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Bar Operations Management — Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring smooth service and adherence to standards.
• Menu Development — Collaborate with management to design and update cocktail, mocktail, and beverage menus that reflect Hey Tiger’s modern Asian concept.
• Team Leadership — Train, mentor, and supervise bartenders and barbacks; foster a culture of creativity and accountability.
• Inventory Control — Manage stock levels, ordering, and supplier relationships; minimize waste and track costs.
• Quality Assurance — Ensure consistency in drink preparation, presentation, and guest service.
• Guest Engagement — Interact with guests, recommend beverages, and create memorable bar experiences.
• Compliance — Uphold hygiene, safety, and licensing regulations.
• Reporting — Provide regular updates to management on sales, staff performance, and operational needs.

Requirements

• Experience — Minimum 3–5 years in bar management or senior bartending roles within high‑end hospitality venues.
• Skills — Strong leadership, mixology expertise, inventory management, and excellent communication skills.
• Qualifications — Hospitality or bartending certifications preferred; food‑safety and responsible service certifications advantageous.
• Attributes — Creative, reliable, detail‑oriented, and passionate about beverage innovation.
• Availability — Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Language — Proficiency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Legal — Must be based in Dubai with the right to work in the UAE.
