AV Technician

Mileo The Palm Hotel, a luxury lifestyle destination on Dubai’s iconic Palm Jumeirah, is seeking a skilled AV Technician to support our events, meetings, and hotel operations. In this role, you will ensure all audiovisual systems run smoothly, from conference setups to in‑house multimedia requirements. You will work closely with the Events, Engineering, and F&B teams to deliver seamless technical experiences for guests and clients. If you are detail‑oriented, technically strong, and passionate about hospitality service excellence, Mileo offers a dynamic environment where your expertise will shine and your career can grow.

🧭 Duties & Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain audiovisual equipment for events, meetings, and hotel functions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to ensure smooth operations.
• Coordinate with event planners, clients, and internal teams to meet technical requirements.
• Maintain inventory of AV equipment and perform regular preventive maintenance.
• Support lighting, sound, and multimedia setups across the property.

🎓 Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an AV Technician in hospitality or event management.
• Strong knowledge of sound systems, lighting controls, projectors, and video equipment.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and event days.
• Diploma or certification in electronics, audiovisual technology, or related field preferred.
