Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in menu planning and recipe development, focusing on meat and steak dishes.

  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient team environment.

  • Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring consistency and quality.

  • Manage inventory and ordering of meat and other kitchen supplies.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.

  • Step in for the Head Chef during their absence, managing kitchen operations and staff.

  • Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment, ensuring proper functioning and safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar culinary leadership role.

  • Strong knowledge of meat preparation, including various cuts and cooking techniques.

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.

  • Familiarity with kitchen management software and inventory systems.

  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional training is preferred.

  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
