Position: Bellman

Location: Waldorf Astoria Kuwait, Al Rai Area, Kuwait City

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Reception: Greet and welcome all guests upon arrival with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a memorable first impression.

  • Luggage Assistance: Assist guests with the handling of luggage to and from rooms, vehicles, and other designated areas efficiently and courteously.

  • Transportation Coordination: Provide information on transportation options, arrange taxis or private cars as requested, and ensure timely departures.

  • Guest Services: Address guest inquiries regarding hotel facilities, local attractions, dining options, and other services, offering personalized recommendations.

  • Safety and Security: Ensure the safety and security of guest belongings and report any suspicious activities to the appropriate authorities.

  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Front Desk, Concierge, and Housekeeping teams to ensure seamless guest experiences.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a guest service role, preferably within the hospitality industry, is desirable but not mandatory.

  • Communication Skills: Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.

  • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and carry heavy luggage and stand for extended periods.

  • Professional Appearance: Well-groomed and dressed in accordance with the hotel’s grooming standards.

  • Interpersonal Skills: Friendly, approachable, and able to interact effectively with guests and team members.

  • Flexibility: Willingness to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
