As a Demi Chef de Partie specializing in Arabic cuisine, you will be an integral part of our culinary team, responsible for preparing and presenting Arabic dishes that meet our high standards. You will work closely with the Sous Chefs and other kitchen staff to ensure that each dish is prepared with precision and attention to detail, maintaining the quality and authenticity of Arabic culinary traditions.

Key Responsibilities:

Food Preparation and Cooking:

Prepare, cook, and present Arabic dishes according to the menu and Donatello Hotel Dubai standards.

Ensure all food is prepared with the highest quality ingredients and presented beautifully.

Follow recipes and quality standards for Arabic dishes such as kebabs, mezze, tagines, and more.

Kitchen Management:

Assist in the smooth running of the kitchen, ensuring all stations are prepared and stocked with necessary ingredients.

Ensure the cleanliness and safety of kitchen equipment, utensils, and workspaces, maintaining high hygiene standards.

Collaboration and Training:

Work closely with the Sous Chefs to develop and refine Arabic menu offerings.

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior kitchen staff and trainees.

Stock Management and Inventory:

Monitor stock levels of ingredients and ensure timely ordering of supplies.

Ensure food is used efficiently to minimize waste and control costs.

Health and Safety Compliance:

Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.

Ensure proper handling and storage of food to maintain freshness and safety.

Creativity and Innovation:

Contribute to menu development with new ideas and innovations for Arabic dishes.

Stay updated on culinary trends and seasonal ingredients to incorporate into the menu.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Demi Chef de Partie or a similar role, specializing in Arabic cuisine.

Strong knowledge and experience with Arabic cooking techniques and ingredients.

Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced kitchen environment.

Good communication skills and the ability to work well with a team.

Attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality, delicious dishes.

Previous experience in a luxury hotel or fine-dining restaurant is preferred.

Culinary qualifications (e.g., Culinary Arts diploma or equivalent) are an advantage.
