As a Shisha Coal Changer at Ape Hospitality, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests enjoy the perfect shisha experience by consistently maintaining the quality of coal during their visit. You will manage the coal changes, ensuring that each shisha is properly maintained for an optimal and enjoyable experience. The role requires a keen eye for detail, a good understanding of shisha maintenance, and a proactive approach to customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Replace and maintain coal levels in shisha setups to ensure optimal smoking quality.
  • Monitor and adjust coal throughout guests’ shisha sessions for the best experience.
  • Ensure shisha equipment, including hoses and bowls, are clean, functioning, and properly prepared before guest use.
  • Provide efficient service, responding promptly to requests for coal replacement or adjustments.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the shisha preparation and serving areas, including coal storage and disposal areas.
  • Assist the Shisha Maker in the preparation and setup of shisha for guests.
  • Adhere to health and safety standards, especially concerning coal handling and fire safety.
  • Ensure that all coal-related supplies are stocked and properly stored for safety.
  • Maintain a professional and friendly attitude while interacting with guests and team members.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Knowledge of shisha coal management, preparation, and safety is a plus.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Flexibility to work evening shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • A positive, professional, and enthusiastic attitude.
